Bad Bad Joel — electronic artist & DJ
These songs have been a lifetime in the making.
Bad Bad Joel has come out of hiding to do what he should have been doing all along.
After dabbling in EDM production as a teenager, Joel quit in frustration. Despite spending time as a DJ, dance music radio programmer, and becoming a professional audio engineer at 20, Joel never returned to creating music.
Until 2025.
In the year of his first releases, one of his singles surpassed 10,000 streams, and he has since earned international and Canadian radio airplay including on Afterhours.FM, CBC, and SiriusXM. His song ‘Circles’ was named a winner in the 2025 International Songwriting Competition — the top 1% of nearly 13,000 entries.
Inspired by Above & Beyond, Avicii, and Chris Lake, his sound blends heartfelt vocals with euphoric drops and a nostalgic yet modern edge.
Bad Bad Joel is just getting started: honing his sound, recording collaborations, and sharing the human experience through electronic music.
